Accident is part of the painting series ‘Traces’, based on the Polymitas snail indigenous to Cuba. The colors of this iconic gastropod, and the snail slime it leaves behind, serve as a metaphor for my ideas on human beauty and progress. The Polymitas symbolizes the imprints we leave on this planet.
